HEAPRO Partners with Sweden’s Twiceme to Launch Smart Safety Helmets in India

Manufacturing-News

HEAPRO, a leading Indian manufacturer of industrial personal protective equipment (PPE), has entered into a strategic collaboration with Stockholm-based Twiceme Technology, a global innovator in digital safety solutions. This partnership introduces Twiceme-enabled smart helmets to India, designed to enhance worker safety and improve digital compliance across industries such as construction, telecom, manufacturing, and renewable energy.

The launch aligns with HEAPRO’s recent inclusion in the Sweden-India Business Council (SIBC), reflecting its growing commitment to integrating advanced digital systems into industrial safety solutions. Equipped with Twiceme’s integrated technology, the helmets connect to the Twiceme Safety Management Portal (SMP)—a centralized platform that allows organizations to track PPE inventories, monitor inspection schedules, and store verified user certifications and fitness records. The platform also provides real-time visibility into equipment condition, inspection history, user identity, and medical details, supporting quicker emergency responses and improved regulatory compliance. This system ensures faster access to critical information, reducing response time during accidents and simplifying safety audits.

According to market projections, India’s construction safety equipment sector, valued at USD 858.4 million in 2024, is set to reach USD 1.51 billion by 2033, growing at a CAGR of 6.6%. Across the Asia-Pacific region, PPE demand in construction is expected to expand at nearly 10.4% annually between 2025 and 2030, driven by stricter safety norms and increasing industrial awareness.

Speaking on the partnership, Vicky Gupta, Managing Director of HEAPRO, stated, “Our collaboration with Twiceme represents a milestone in our efforts to deliver innovative safety solutions. These helmets combine physical protection with digital intelligence, enabling connected, data-driven workplace safety ecosystems. This initiative reinforces our dedication to supporting India’s industrial sectors as they embrace digital transformation.”

Christian Connolly, CEO of Twiceme Technology, added, “Safety must be universal and accessible. Together with HEAPRO, we’re introducing globally trusted technology to Indian industries, ensuring quicker response times and better preparedness at worksites. Most workplace accidents are preventable, and this partnership aims to make a tangible difference.”

Through its partnership with SIBC, HEAPRO is advancing its mission to strengthen India’s industrial safety infrastructure while supporting the nation’s digital growth agenda. For Twiceme, this collaboration marks its first official product rollout in India, expanding its global footprint.

Headquartered in Stockholm, Twiceme has become a recognized name in digital safety technology, empowering faster aid response through intuitive, easy-to-use systems. Its technology is already integrated into millions of safety products worldwide, in collaboration with leading global brands such as STUDSON, Guardian, Oakley, and Helly Hansen.
