HARTING Czech Republic, a subsidiary of HARTING Technology Group, celebrates three decades of operational excellence and technological innovation this year. Since its inception in spring 1994, the Prague-based subsidiary has been instrumental in fortifying the group’s footprint in Eastern Europe, marking a significant milestone in the company’s international expansion strategy that commenced in 1979.

Philip Harting, CEO of the HARTING Technology Group, reflected on the strategic decision to establish HARTING Czech Republic, stating, “Eastern Europe quickly emerged as a promising market. Strengthening our activities in this region was a logical step, and over the years, through numerous plant expansions and strategic initiatives, we have seen this decision bear fruit.”

Marek Sucharda, who has steered HARTING Czech Republic as Managing Director for 25 years, emphasized the subsidiary’s unwavering commitment to customer-centric solutions. “Customer orientation is fundamental to our ethos. Our growth trajectory owes much to our dedicated team, which consistently strives to meet and exceed individual customer expectations,” Mr. Sucharda noted, underscoring the team’s pivotal role in the subsidiary’s success.

From its modest beginnings with just four employees in 1994, HARTING Czech Republic has grown significantly, currently boasting a team of 14 professionals based in Prague. The subsidiary plays a crucial role in delivering HARTING’s cutting-edge connectivity solutions across diverse industrial sectors such as transportation, electromobility, renewable energy generation, automation, and mechanical engineering.

The substantial growth we have achieved in your region is a testament to your expertise and reliability,” Mr Harting remarked, conveying his appreciation.
