Goodyear India has launched its new Ultra Grip tractor tire, developed to meet the everyday requirements of Indian farmers and provide reliable performance across different agricultural conditions. The new tire combines traction, durability and handling to support farmers during a wide range of field operations. Goodyear said the Ultra Grip has been developed with Indian farming conditions in mind, with a focus on dependable performance across varied soils and terrains.
Arvind Bhandari, Managing Director, Goodyear India, said farmers need tractor tires that can deliver consistent performance throughout the year. He added that the Ultra Grip is designed to provide the grip, durability and control required for agricultural work in different operating environments.
The Ultra Grip features a rugged tread design intended to provide strong traction in challenging field conditions. Its construction includes enhanced puncture protection and a cut-resistant tread compound to withstand demanding agricultural operations. The tire has also been designed to provide improved stability and handling. According to Goodyear, these features can help tractor operators maintain better control while carrying out field work.
The Ultra Grip is currently available in the 14.9-28 size through Goodyear India’s dealer network across key agricultural markets. The company plans to introduce additional sizes in the future. Goodyear said the product is aimed at supporting farmers who require tires capable of handling different types of agricultural work and changing field conditions. The company’s farm tire portfolio serves customers across India and is supplied to major tractor manufacturers.
