Greaves Electric Mobility Ltd (GEML) has moved to strengthen its presence in the B2B mobility space by deepening its collaboration with Alt Mobility, a company specializing in electric vehicle leasing and fleet management. Alt Mobility currently operates more than 700 Ampere Magnus SW S electric scooters in Delhi and Bengaluru and plans to widen its association with GEML in the months ahead. The Magnus SW S—engineered specifically for commercial use—is being deployed with support from Indofast Energy, which provides the energy network and battery-swapping solutions crucial for maximizing fleet uptime.
Vikas Singh, Managing Director of GEML, said the company is focused on reinforcing India’s B2B electric mobility ecosystem. He highlighted GEML’s approach of combining dependable vehicles, flexible financing, and robust after-sales support to drive the transition toward sustainable last-mile transport. According to him, the partnership with Alt Mobility aligns with the company’s mission to make electric mobility efficient, accessible, and ready for large-scale fleet deployment.
Under this arrangement, GEML will supply electric scooters, while Alt Mobility will acquire and lease these vehicles through its integrated operating model. The Magnus SW S will be offered under Alt Mobility’s Drive-to-Own program, giving gig workers, fleet owners, and delivery partners affordable access to zero-emission vehicles.
Backed by Greaves Electric Mobility’s 17-year EV heritage and manufactured at Ampere’s advanced facility in Ranipet, the Magnus SW S is tailored for cargo and passenger transportation. The vehicle features a dual-frame chassis tested for loads up to 200 kg, 165 mm ground clearance, and 12-inch tyres designed for stability and ride comfort. A high-torque motor supports strong performance, and the scooter integrates IoT-linked capabilities for smarter fleet management.
It also offers a warranty of up to 3 years or 75,000 km and is supported by more than 500 Ampere Care service points across India. The collaboration marks a significant milestone in GEML’s strategy to build a strong foothold in the commercial EV segment with solutions designed to deliver long-term performance, reliability, and operational value.
