Brisbane’s container port, serving as a crucial transshipment hub, holds significant importance in global trade, achieving a record throughput of 1.56 million standard containers in 2022. Gebrüder Weiss‘s services in Brisbane encompass air and sea transports, customs clearance, and tailored logistics solutions for project orders. The company recently designed the transportation of an innovative solar car from Switzerland to Australia and back for ETH Zurich’s aCentauri Solar Racing Team. The team successfully covered a distance of 3,000 km across the Australian outback using solar power exclusively.
