Gautam Solar has been ranked among the world’s top 30 solar module manufacturers in Wood Mackenzie’s Solar Module Manufacturer Ranking Report 2025. The company has also been awarded a ‘Grade A’ classification, placing it among a select group of manufacturers considered reliable and financially bankable for large-scale solar projects.
With more than 28 years in the solar industry, Gautam Solar is one of the few Indian manufacturers to feature alongside major global and Chinese players in the ranking. The recognition highlights the company’s manufacturing scale, product performance, quality controls, and long-term business stability.
Wood Mackenzie, a global energy research and consulting firm founded in 1973, evaluates manufacturers on parameters such as operational capacity, financial strength, supply chain reliability, and historical performance. The ‘Grade A’ rating is the highest category in the report and is awarded only to companies that meet strict benchmarks across these areas.
The 2025 report identifies ‘Grade A’ manufacturers as those whose modules are widely accepted by lenders and developers for utility-scale and commercial projects. Gautam Solar’s inclusion reflects its ability to meet demanding technical and financial requirements consistently.
