Force Motors Records 23% H1 Sales Growth

Manufacturing-News

Force Motors Limited, India’s largest van manufacturer and a leading provider of shared and specialised mobility solutions, has reported strong sales momentum in the first half of FY2026–27, supported by demand across its core product portfolio and the introduction of new models. The company recorded a 23% increase in total sales volumes during H1 FY2026–27 compared with the corresponding period of the previous financial year. Performance strengthened over the course of the second quarter as Force Motors completed the transition to its new Traveller N Range and introduced the Urbania Deluxe.

The product transition required operational adjustments during the initial months of the financial year. However, the company leveraged its integrated manufacturing operations and production capabilities to navigate the change, with vehicle volumes gaining momentum in the subsequent months.

The Traveller N Range and Urbania Deluxe have received encouraging market responses, with customer interest and a healthy order pipeline supporting the company’s outlook. Demand has also remained firm across other products, including the Trax, Monobus and specialised vehicles.

Commenting on the performance, Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors Limited, said, “The first half of FY2026–27 has been a period of transition and renewed momentum for Force Motors. The complete transition to the new Traveller N Range and the launch of the Urbania Deluxe marked important steps in strengthening our product portfolio. While this involved a period of operational adjustment, our strong manufacturing capabilities and the efforts of our teams helped us regain momentum, with volumes picking up significantly over the last two months.”

He added that the encouraging response to the new models and the order pipeline ahead of the festive season provided confidence for the coming months. The company is also preparing to expand its electric mobility portfolio through the planned launch of the Traveller EV range.

Force Motors continues to invest in long-term manufacturing and business development. Its planned investment of approximately ₹3,000 crore is intended to strengthen manufacturing capabilities, expand capacity and support the ambition of nearly doubling annual output to around 80,000 vehicles.

Alongside manufacturing investments, the company is advancing Project DigiForce to improve customer engagement, enhance dealer network performance and streamline operations. These initiatives form part of its broader effort to respond to changing customer requirements and support sustainable business growth.
