Expro has secured a contract extension of up to five years to continue delivering subsea completion and intervention services in the Gulf of America, reinforcing a long-standing relationship with a major global energy operator and further strengthening its position in offshore well access operations. The extended agreement includes the deployment of Expro’s proprietary Solus™ valve technology, which has been developed to provide an additional layer of safety and operational assurance during subsea activities. The valve is designed to support well integrity while helping operators manage complex offshore environments where reliability and risk mitigation remain critical priorities.

As part of the contract, Expro will continue supplying subsea landing string services through its North and Latin America operations. The company’s subsea systems support a broad range of well intervention, completion, and maintenance activities, enabling operators to conduct offshore projects efficiently while maintaining high safety and performance standards.

The Solus valve forms an important component of Expro’s subsea technology portfolio. Designed to enhance operational flexibility, the system contributes to safer well access procedures while supporting the evolving technical requirements of deepwater and ultra-deepwater projects. Its integration into offshore operations reflects growing industry emphasis on well integrity, environmental stewardship, and operational resilience.

The contract extension builds on a relationship spanning more than two decades between Expro and the operator. During this period, the companies have collaborated on numerous offshore developments, delivering subsea solutions tailored to challenging project requirements and demanding operating conditions.

The renewed agreement highlights the continued confidence placed in Expro’s technical expertise, service quality, and ability to execute complex offshore programs. It also reflects the increasing importance of advanced subsea technologies in supporting production efficiency and reducing operational risks in offshore energy developments.

Daniel More, Vice President of Subsea Well Access at Expro, said, “This extension reflects the strength of our long-standing partnership and the trust that has been built through years of successful project delivery. We remain committed to providing safe, reliable, and efficient subsea solutions that support our customer’s offshore objectives while maintaining the highest operational standards.”

Expro has continued to expand its capabilities across well construction, well flow management, subsea well access, and production optimization services. The company supports energy operators in offshore and onshore markets worldwide through a combination of engineering expertise, proprietary technologies, and integrated service delivery.
