Erisha E Mobility Private Limited, an electric vehicle company, has recently collaborated with the Uttarakhand government to boost up eco-friendly transportation. The agreement, signed on December 8, 2023, outlines a comprehensive plan to establish an Electric Vehicle Park and deploy 100 charging stations across Uttarakhand. The Honorable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Darshan Rana, the Chairman and Managing Director of Erisha E Mobility Private Limited were present in the MOU signing ceremony.

Erisha E Mobility Private Limited, a part of the Rana Group, is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of electric vehicles in India. Established on April 18, 2022, the company specializes in producing electric rickshaws, electric buses, electric cargo vehicles, and electric charging stations. Erisha ‘s mission is to provide reliable, efficient, and environmentally friendly transportation solutions and to make their mission even stronger Erisha has appointed former Indian cricketer Saurav Ganguly as its brand ambassador.
Expressing enthusiasm for the collaboration, Darshan Rana stated, “We are excited to partner with the Uttarakhand Government in their mission to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles. At a sprawling 320 acres and an investment of INR 1500 crores, the proposed Electric Vehicle (EV) Park stands as a pioneering project in the region. Designed to be a hub for innovation, research, and development in electric mobility, the EV Park will play a major role in collaborating the manufacturers, ancillary units, technology providers, and researchers. This initiative is poised to significantly contribute to the growth of the electric vehicle ecosystem in Uttarakhand. The project is expected to generate 5000 jobs, encompassing both direct and indirect employment opportunities.
Part of the initiative involves establishing 100 strategically placed electric vehicle charging hubs, with an estimated investment of INR 400 crores. This ambitious step aims to create a robust charging network, ensuring convenient access to charging stations and promoting the widespread use of electric vehicles. The strategic placement of these charging stations is set to reduce the carbon footprint of Uttarakhand’s transportation sector. The total investment for the entire initiative amounts to INR 1900 crores, allocated over a ten-year period.
