ENCY Software has introduced ENCY 3.0, the next generation of its CNC machine and industrial robot programming platform, at the ENCY World Conference 2026 in Limassol, Cyprus. The latest version brings significant enhancements in CAM automation, AI-assisted programming, advanced machining, robotic automation and cloud collaboration, helping manufacturers improve productivity, simplify programming and support increasingly complex production requirements.

The new platform was presented by Andrei Kharatsidi, CEO of ENCY Software, who outlined the company’s vision of creating a more connected manufacturing ecosystem that combines CNC programming, robot programming, shop-floor verification, cloud-based collaboration and intelligent automation.

A major focus of ENCY 3.0 is the introduction of advanced CAM automation. The software features a new macros engine that enables users to record and reuse programming actions, automate repetitive tasks and create customized workflows. Users can develop automation routines manually, through scripting or with the assistance of AI coding tools, reducing programming time while improving consistency across machining operations.

The software also introduces AI-assisted CAM functions aimed at simplifying day-to-day programming activities. These capabilities support cost estimation, project troubleshooting, feature recognition, programming setup and guided learning. The integrated assistance helps programmers identify errors more quickly, understand their causes and receive workflow guidance, reducing manual effort and improving overall efficiency.

ENCY 3.0 also delivers major improvements for CNC machining. A new tool assembly system allows users to create realistic tool assemblies with holders, adapters, inserts and other components. By accurately representing tool geometry, the software provides more reliable machining simulation and collision detection before production begins, helping manufacturers reduce machining risks and improve process planning.

Another key addition is the new 3D Surfacing operation for three-axis finishing. The feature combines multiple finishing strategies into a single workflow, enabling smoother machining of both steep and shallow surfaces while reducing unnecessary tool movements and manual adjustments.

Additional enhancements include Auto Check Holder, which automatically tilts tools to avoid holder collisions, and Feeds and Speeds, which calculates cutting parameters based on tool selection, material type and machining method. The system also allows manufacturers to build and expand their own machining data libraries over time.

For advanced manufacturing, ENCY 3.0 introduces expanded five-axis machining support through new Blade Machining and Swarf Machining functions for blades, impellers, blisks and complex side-wall finishing. The platform also strengthens additive and hybrid manufacturing by supporting planar, non-planar and radial slicing for generating deposition paths on complex components such as shells, sleeves, rings and helical surfaces.Manufacturers involved in sheet cutting will benefit from AI-powered nesting technology that combines contour recognition with traditional placement algorithms to maximise material utilisation and speed up layout preparation.

On the robotics side, ENCY Robot 3.0 introduces SmartMotion with Auto Axis Map, enabling coordinated motion planning for robots, rotary axes, linear axes and moving workpieces. This reduces manual configuration, minimises collision risks and accelerates deployment of robotic systems. Laser cutting capabilities have also been expanded for both CNC machines and industrial robots with automated feature recognition, interactive geometry editing and simplified toolpath generation.

ENCY 3.0 further strengthens the ENCY X ecosystem by enhancing collaboration through ENCY Clouds and improving shop-floor verification with ENCY Tuner, which now offers advanced NC code simulation and multichannel support. Together, these developments provide manufacturers with an integrated digital environment that connects design, programming, simulation and production, supporting faster workflows and greater operational efficiency.
