In a remarkable push toward building a Circular and Resource-Secure Economy, Eco Recycling Ltd (Ecoreco) — India’s first professional e-waste management company — has united citizens, corporates, and institutions under its national initiative, #OneBillionChargers, powered by its digital platform BookMyJunk. Launched on Gandhi Jayanti (October 2, 2025) as part of the “Swachhta Hi Seva — Special Campaign 5.0,” the movement has already received 8,670 parcels of e-waste from across India, each weighing an average of 3 kilograms. The enthusiastic participation reflects growing environmental consciousness and collective responsibility toward sustainable recycling.

The campaign promotes the philosophy of “Collect • Conserve • Contribute,” transforming discarded gadgets into reusable resources while supporting Atmanirbhar Bharat and reducing dependence on imports.
