EBG Group has inaugurated Vajram Electric, a centralized manufacturing, assembly and distribution facility in Hyderabad aimed at strengthening the company’s integrated production ecosystem across multiple business sectors. The project marks a major step in the Group’s long-term expansion strategy and is expected to create more than 450 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

Established with an initial investment of ₹25 crore, the new facility currently spans 25,000 square feet and is scheduled to expand to 50,000 square feet over the next year. The Hyderabad hub will serve as the manufacturing backbone for 11 business verticals operated by EBG Group, including electric mobility, rehabilitation technology, consumer electronics, hospitality infrastructure and construction solutions.

The facility has been designed as a fully integrated production and warehousing campus capable of handling manufacturing, assembly, inventory management and pan-India distribution operations under a unified framework. Company officials stated that the centralized structure will improve operational efficiency, reduce turnaround times and create a scalable manufacturing ecosystem to support future growth.

According to the company, Vajram Electric will function as a strategic production platform supporting both domestic demand and export-oriented manufacturing capabilities. The facility incorporates advanced assembly infrastructure and is positioned to streamline supply chain operations across the Group’s diversified portfolio of businesses.

Founder of EBG Group, Dr Irfan Khan, described the launch as a significant milestone in the company’s manufacturing-led growth journey. He stated that the integrated platform has been developed to support multiple high-growth sectors while improving speed, consistency and operational coordination across the Group’s expanding business network.

Co-founder Hari Kiran said the consolidation of manufacturing, warehousing and distribution activities under one operational structure will strengthen quality control, optimize costs and improve supply chain responsiveness. He added that the facility has also been developed with a focus on sustainable manufacturing practices and long-term operational scalability.

The company plans to deploy future investments toward automation, systems integration and production capacity expansion as part of the next phase of development. These upgrades are expected to improve productivity while supporting the Group’s ambition to build globally competitive manufacturing operations.

Vajram Electric’s operations are supported by an expanding logistics network that currently includes hubs in Ludhiana, Pune and Ahmedabad, with an additional facility in Manesar expected to commence operations shortly. The network is integrated with both online and offline distribution channels to improve market access and strengthen delivery capabilities across India.

The expansion aligns with India’s broader manufacturing and electric mobility initiatives aimed at reducing import dependence and developing robust domestic supply chains. Through its integrated manufacturing platform, EBG Group aims to establish a stronger presence in the electric vehicle ecosystem and expand its participation in India’s rapidly evolving industrial landscape over the coming years.
