Delta Electronics India has partnered with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) to establish a groundbreaking Technical Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. This new initiative, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), was unveiled at the launch of the Naan Mudhalvan Finishing School (NMFS) initiative at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai, in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru M.K. Stalin, along with senior government officials and industry leaders.

The collaboration marks a significant step in Delta’s mission to foster skill development in India, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 regions. The CoE will offer specialized training in Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM), PLC programming, industrial automation, and robotics. With cutting-edge facilities, including Delta’s proprietary automation technology, smart classrooms, and real-time simulation zones, the CoE promises an immersive learning experience for the youth.

Benjamin Lin, President of Delta Electronics India, emphasized, “As India moves towards becoming a global manufacturing leader, skilled talent will be its key differentiator. This CoE reflects our commitment to inclusive growth, where education, industry, and innovation converge. We are grateful to TNSDC for this collaboration and look forward to supporting more such transformative initiatives in the future.”

The CoE will offer 3- to 6-month programs co-designed by Delta’s industry experts, with a focus on employability and diversity. The curriculum will be aligned with global certification standards, combining theoretical learning with hands-on practical training. The training also focuses on offering placement support, with a special emphasis on inclusion for women candidates and economically disadvantaged youth.

Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director of Delta Electronics India, added, “Through this Centre of Excellence, Delta is contributing to nation-building by equipping underserved youth with the skills required in high-growth sectors. We are dedicated to creating pathways for them to access opportunities in industrial automation and related fields.”

The Centre of Excellence, located in Krishnagiri district, is the first of its kind in the region, designed to address the growing demand for skilled talent in India’s industrial sectors. The facility offers specialized training in Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM), industrial automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing. Developed in collaboration with Delta’s industrial experts, the curriculum is aligned with global standards, ensuring that trainees gain knowledge that is both relevant and cutting-edge. Training programs range from 3 to 6 months and combine classroom learning with hands-on practical experience, providing students with real-world exposure to industry-grade systems.

The CoE is equipped with state-of-the-art labs, smart classrooms, and simulation zones featuring Delta’s proprietary technology. It offers a strong focus on employability, with a 70% placement assurance for trained candidates. The Centre also prioritizes inclusivity, with dedicated programs aimed at supporting women candidates and economically disadvantaged youth, ensuring equal access to career opportunities in high-growth industries. This initiative not only aims to enhance technical skills but also fosters diversity and empowerment within the workforce.

The CoE will operate on a no-cost model for trainees, with Delta providing infrastructure, certified faculty, and real-world factory exposure. This initiative also includes direct hiring pipelines, certification programs, and industry mentorship, all aimed at empowering the workforce of tomorrow.
