Cyngn, listed on Nasdaq under the ticker CYN, has introduced DriveMod EasyLaunch, a commercial programme designed to help manufacturers and warehouse operators deploy autonomous material-handling vehicles with lower upfront costs and shorter implementation timelines. The programme allows qualifying customers to automate a repetitive indoor material movement route using Cyngn’s DriveMod Autonomous Tugger through a monthly subscription. It does not require an upfront capital investment or a long-term commitment, and deployments can be completed within a matter of weeks.

The service is intended for routine transport tasks in industrial facilities, including moving carts, pallets, components and supplies between production lines, warehouses and staging areas. By focusing on a specific route, customers can evaluate autonomous material handling within their existing operations before considering broader deployment.

Lior Tal, Chief Executive Officer of Cyngn, said industrial automation projects could face difficulties before the technology was introduced on the factory floor. “EasyLaunch is designed to remove much of that friction. Customers can identify a high-value route, deploy quickly, and evaluate automation within their actual operation,” Mr Tal said.

Under the programme, Cyngn manages vehicle deployment, autonomous configuration and customer onboarding. Customers can use Cyngn Insight, the company’s fleet management software, to manage missions and monitor vehicle activity after deployment. EasyLaunch forms part of Cyngn’s wider effort to make autonomous vehicle technology easier for industrial organisations to adopt. The subscription model is intended to reduce the financial and operational barriers associated with conventional automation projects, allowing businesses to begin with a defined application rather than committing to a larger system from the outset.

Manufacturers and logistics operators face operational challenges that include labour shortages, repetitive manual work and safety risks associated with material movement. Autonomous tuggers can be used to transport materials along established routes, helping organisations assess how automation may fit into their workflows.

Cyngn develops autonomous vehicle technology for industrial customers, including manufacturing and logistics companies. Its DriveMod technology is designed to bring self-driving vehicles into existing operations without requiring high upfront costs or infrastructure installations.

DriveMod is currently available on Motrec MT-160 Tuggers. Through EasyLaunch, Cyngn aims to provide a subscription-based route for qualifying businesses to test and implement autonomous material handling without making a long-term financial commitment at the outset.

The company focuses on industrial applications where autonomous vehicles can support material movement and address operational requirements. Its fleet management software enables customers to monitor vehicle activity and manage missions as part of their day-to-day operations.
