CRMIT Solutions has introduced its Agentic Assurance Model, a five-layer framework designed to help enterprises assess the reliability, performance and business value of AI agents across real-world operations. As businesses increasingly use AI agents to handle customer interactions, access enterprise systems and carry out tasks, evaluating the accuracy of their responses alone may not be sufficient. Organisations also need to assess how agents make decisions, interact with connected systems, manage unexpected situations and maintain performance after deployment.

CRMIT’s framework evaluates AI agents across five areas: Behaviour, Orchestration, Performance, Experience, and Outcomes & Monitoring. It can be applied throughout the agent lifecycle, from design and development to production and ongoing monitoring. The Behaviour layer examines whether an agent acts as intended and can explain its decisions. Orchestration assesses how effectively it works across systems and manages handoffs. Performance measures reliability and cost efficiency at scale, while Experience focuses on interactions with customers and employees. Outcomes & Monitoring tracks whether agents continue to meet defined business objectives once deployed.

Vinod Narapa Reddy, Founder and CEO of CRMIT Solutions, said enterprises must assess whether AI agents can be relied upon when they begin making decisions and taking actions on behalf of organisations. He said the framework was designed to extend assurance beyond whether the technology produces correct answers.

Unlike conventional testing methods that focus mainly on functional accuracy, the model examines agent behaviour under actual operating conditions. It also helps organisations identify areas of business risk and determine where additional checks are needed, depending on the industry, process and deployment environment.

CRMIT said it had refined the approach through deployments in public sector, healthcare, logistics and federal government environments. In one public-sector application, the framework helped improve an AI agent’s ability to classify citizen enquiries, retrieve information, prepare responses and identify cases requiring human intervention. The deployment delivered 50–80% time savings on manual information lookups, with draft responses requiring minimal human editing.

Saurabh Gupta, Chief Innovation Officer at CRMIT Solutions, said assurance must cover how agents behave, operate across systems, manage costs, interact with users and meet performance targets in production. The model complements CRMIT’s Data-to-Decision approach, which links data and intelligence with decisions, actions and business outcomes.

Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Bengaluru, CRMIT Solutions helps enterprises convert data into decisions and business actions. The company has delivered more than 1,000 projects and serves customers across the United States, Australia and New Zealand, Asia and Europe.
