Cosmo Consumer, the consumer business of Cosmo First Limited, has expanded its presence in India’s automotive aftermarket with the launch of its first 4C Cosmo Car Care Centre in Pune. The new facility marks the company’s entry into the organised vehicle protection and professional car care services market while reinforcing its long-term strategy to build a nationwide network of premium automotive care centres.

Pune was selected as the first location due to its strong automotive ecosystem, large base of premium vehicle owners, and growing demand for advanced vehicle protection solutions. The city has emerged as one of India’s leading automotive hubs, creating significant opportunities for organised service providers offering high-quality products and professional installation.

The launch follows the steady growth of Cosmo Consumer’s automotive portfolio, which includes Cosmo PPF paint protection films, Cosmo Sunshield automotive window films, and Cosmo Guard coatings and detailing products. During FY26, the business recorded revenue of ₹23 crore, supported by an expanding distribution network comprising more than 75 window film distributors and over 40 paint protection film distributors across the country.

The 4C Cosmo Car Care Centre has been developed as a comprehensive destination for vehicle owners seeking premium protection, enhancement, and maintenance services. Customers will have access to a complete range of solutions, including paint protection films, high-performance window films, ceramic coatings, detailing services, and specialised vehicle care, all delivered by trained professionals using advanced application techniques.

Speaking on the expansion, Pankaj Poddar, Group CEO of Cosmo First, said, “The automotive aftermarket continues to offer tremendous growth opportunities as vehicle owners increasingly prioritise long-term protection and premium maintenance solutions. Our investment in the 4C network reflects our confidence in this market and our commitment to delivering world-class products supported by professional service standards. We intend to invest nearly ₹20 crore to expand the 4C network while strengthening our automotive brands across India.”

The company plans to establish nearly 35 Cosmo Car Care Centres during FY26-27, creating a wider footprint across key automotive markets. This expansion will be supported by continued investments in marketing, partner development, product innovation, and customer engagement initiatives.

Abhineesh Das, Business Head, Cosmo Consumer, said the launch represents the next phase of the company’s automotive growth journey. By integrating premium products, technical expertise, and dedicated service centres, the company aims to provide customers with a seamless ownership experience while strengthening relationships with installers and detailing partners.

Over the past year, Cosmo Consumer has broadened its product portfolio through the introduction of new window film and paint protection film variants while expanding collaborations with detailing studios across India. The company plans to continue introducing innovative automotive care solutions as it strengthens its position in India’s rapidly growing organised vehicle protection and car care market.
