Coromandel International Limited, a leading agricultural solutions provider, has partnered with Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) under its Krish-e initiative to introduce drone spraying services, known as Gromor Drive, to Indian farmers. The service, now available in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh, is backed by RPTO-certified pilots and Coromandel’s subsidiary, Dhaksha Unmanned Systems, ensuring reliable drone supply, pilot training, and service support.
This integration gives Coromandel a competitive edge in the evolving agricultural technology market. Farmers can access these services via Mahindra’s “Krish-e Kheti Ke Liye” app, offering technology-driven farming solutions aimed at improving productivity, reducing input costs, and enhancing farm profitability.
Amir Alvi, Chief Operating Officer of Coromandel’s Fertiliser Business, emphasized the initiative’s transformative potential: “Gromor Drive leverages advanced technology to make agricultural practices more efficient and accessible. Our partnership with Mahindra Krish-e is a significant step toward bringing cost-effective drone solutions to farmers, helping them increase productivity and profitability.”
Hemant Sikka, President of Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector, expressed optimism about the collaboration: “Integrating Coromandel’s Gromor Drive with Krish-e’s reach enables us to offer drone technology for precise and efficient fertilization and crop protection, ensuring better yields and reduced exposure to chemicals.”
