Continental’s Technical Center India (TCI) won two awards at the Zinnov Awards 2024. They received the “Unlocking Center Value” and “Great Place to Innovate” awards, recognizing their commitment to innovation and creativity. The Zinnov Awards had over 470 nominations from more than 200 companies, evaluated by a panel of fifty industry experts. These awards celebrate leaders in technology and innovation.

This award showcases TCI’s strategic efforts to drive innovation, improve business performance, and enhance operational efficiency. Great Place to Innovate
The “Great Place to Innovate” award acknowledges Continental’s efforts to foster a culture of innovation and creativity. TCI creates an environment where employees can explore new ideas, take risks, and push boundaries, making it a workplace that encourages innovative thinking.
Established in 2009, TCI has about 7,000 engineers and is a major R&D location under the Holistic Engineering and Technologies organization (he[a]t). TCI supports both global and local R&D for Continental’s Automotive Technologies group sector. It is also the Global Software Center for Excellence and the HQ of the Global Software Academy.
India serves as the Regional R&D Center and Asia Application Hub, focusing on areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cyber Security to prepare for the future of mobility. TCI has developed competencies across various automotive domains, including advanced safety technologies, autonomous driving technologies, and connected mobility.
