Continental is expanding its product range to address future challenges in the workshop business. At the Automechanika trade fair in Frankfurt, under the motto “Shaping Tomorrow. Together!”, Continental will introduce new products and technologies.
The company is adding sensors for advanced driver assistance systems, such as radar and camera modules, to its aftermarket portfolio. They are also focusing on sustainability with the launch of production-ready multi V-belts made from renewable and recycled materials. Additionally, Continental’s premium brake brand, ATE, will showcase new products aimed at sustainability.
A highlight of the event will be Continental’s UltracContact NXT tire, made with up to 65 percent sustainable materials, offering high performance and safety. Visitors can see these innovations at booth FOR.0 A03 from September 10 to 14.
Enno Straten, head of the Automotive Aftermarket business segment at Continental, stated, “New technologies, digitalization, and the trend towards greater sustainability pose big challenges for workshop partners and retailers.
