Chevron India has opened the doors to its new center in Bellandur, Bengaluru, celebrating the first anniversary of its Engineering and Innovation Excellence Center, known as ENGINE. The move highlights Chevron’s continued focus on building forward-looking energy solutions by tapping into India’s strong pool of technical talent and innovation potential.

Situated in RMZ Ecoworld and covering 312,000 square feet, the newly launched center is a modern, LEED-certified facility. It’s been designed as a collaborative space where digital experts and engineering teams come together to develop and scale advanced technology initiatives. With a team built around digital-first and AI-driven practices, the center is focused on streamlining technical operations and improving delivery models across Chevron’s global network.

“ENGINE is more than just a facility,” said Akshay Sahni, Chevron India’s Country Head. “It’s a space where India’s engineering strength meets Chevron’s worldwide expertise. We’re reimagining the way work happens — using tools like robotics, digital twins, holograms, and AI-based platforms to solve real-world energy challenges. ENGINE is already contributing to a wide range of Chevron’s global functions, from deep earth modeling to performance analytics at complex industrial sites.”

Since starting operations in August 2024, ENGINE has onboarded more than 1,000 specialists. This growth reflects the center’s role in delivering next-generation energy technologies and solutions, built in India, for the world.
