Ceigall Infra Projects Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ceigall India Limited, has been awarded a Letter of Award (LOA) by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited (MPRDC) for the development of the Indore–Ujjain Greenfield access-controlled highway under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM). The project involves the construction of a 48.10-kilometre four-lane access-controlled corridor with paved shoulders, commencing near Pitra Parvat at Km 0.000 and extending up to Km 48.100, including the Simhastha bypass at Km 2.600. The contract has been secured at a bid project cost of ₹1,089 crore, with a scheduled execution timeline of 24 months from the appointed date.
As part of the scope, Ceigall Infra Projects will undertake end-to-end construction of the highway infrastructure in accordance with HAM norms. The corridor is expected to significantly strengthen connectivity between Indore and Ujjain, enabling smoother traffic flow, enhanced safety, and faster travel speeds. The development is also anticipated to ease congestion while improving access to major economic centres and prominent religious destinations across the region.
Commenting on the award, Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman and Managing Director, Ceigall India Limited, said that the Indore–Ujjain project holds strategic importance for Madhya Pradesh’s transport network. He added that the LOA reflects confidence in Ceigall’s execution strength in complex hybrid annuity projects and reiterates the company’s focus on delivering durable, safe, and timely infrastructure assets.
The latest order further bolsters Ceigall’s order book in the roads and highways segment and highlights its expanding presence in large-scale HAM projects for state authorities. The project aligns with the company’s long-term vision of supporting India’s infrastructure expansion through efficient, sustainable, and future-oriented mobility corridors.
