Castrol India has launched a new product aimed at improving helmet hygiene for two-wheeler riders. The Castrol All-in-One Helmet Cleaner is a foam-based spray that cleans both the interior and exterior of helmets, offering a more practical alternative to using water and household detergents, which many riders currently rely on.

The product is designed for Indian conditions, where heat, dust, and humidity make helmet maintenance a regular challenge. The spray contains silver ION technology that claims to remove 99.99% of bacteria, and it has been dermatologically tested for safe use on skin and hair. The new helmet cleaner is now available across Castrol’s retail network, partner workshops, and online via Amazon. The company is supporting the launch with in-store promotions and digital marketing efforts.

Kedar Lele, Managing Director of Castrol India Limited, said “This product fills a clear gap in everyday two-wheeler care. For riders, it offers a convenient and effective solution to an often-ignored problem. For our partners, it’s a unique addition to the Auto Care lineup and opens up a new category with repeat-purchase potential.” The helmet cleaner joins Castrol’s growing range of Auto Care products, which already includes the Castrol Chain Cleaner, Chain Lube, and 3-in-1 Shiner—each targeting routine maintenance needs for motorbike users.

A subsidiary of the bp group, Castrol India is one of the country’s leading lubricant companies with a history spanning over a century. Its product portfolio includes well-known names such as Castrol CRB, GTX, MAGNATEC, EDGE, Activ, and POWER1.
