Bosch Power Tools is expanding its professional equipment portfolio with new products for moisture detection, electrical diagnostics, rebar cutting and concrete consolidation. The latest additions include two moisture meters, an 18V Rebar Cutter, an 18V Pencil Vibrator, an EXPERT Wall/Floor Scanner with Radar, a True RMS Digital Multimeter and a True RMS Clamp Meter.

The new tools are designed to help professionals carry out specialised tasks across construction, electrical work, maintenance and industrial applications. The range combines measuring and detection technology with cordless equipment for concrete and reinforcement work.

Philipp Gosau, Director of Product Management at Bosch Power Tools North America, said the company was developing products to address the practical requirements of professionals across different jobsite applications. He said the new range covers tasks ranging from identifying materials behind walls to cutting reinforcement bars and consolidating concrete.

The PRO 18V Rebar Cutter features a brushless motor delivering power equivalent to 13 amps of corded equipment. It can cut No. 5 rebar in approximately two seconds and handle rebar up to No. 10, measuring 1.25 inches. Its tungsten carbide-tipped blade is designed to produce clean cuts with fewer sparks than conventional abrasive cutting methods. A rotatable handle, KickBack Control and a convenience brake provide additional operating control.

The PRO 18V Pencil Vibrator is designed for concrete applications such as footings and slabs. Its brushless motor delivers up to 12,700 vibrations per minute, with a one-inch vibrator head and four-foot whip. The cordless design eliminates extension cords, while IPX4 protection helps safeguard the switch and battery against splashing concrete.

For moisture measurement, Bosch has introduced pin-type and pinless models. The GMP1-13 measures moisture in wood, drywall, concrete and other materials using pins, while the GMM1-15 uses electromagnetic-field technology to measure moisture without damaging surfaces. Both models offer preset settings for 37 wood types and 10 building materials and carry IP65-rated protection.

The EXPERT 18V Wall/Floor Scanner uses radar and artificial intelligence-assisted processing to detect objects behind drywall, concrete and brick, including metal, wood studs, water-filled plastic pipes and live wires. It can scan to depths of up to 7.5 inches and supports data storage and transfer.

The EXPERT True RMS Digital Multimeter measures voltage, current, resistance, temperature and other electrical parameters. The True RMS Clamp Meter measures AC/DC current up to 600 amps and includes a non-contact voltage detector. The additions extend Bosch’s professional tool range across construction, maintenance and electrical diagnostics.
