BorgWarner is showcasing its latest technologies for commercial vehicles at IAA Transportation 2026, being held in Hanover, Germany, from September 14 to 20. At Booth C65 in Hall 12, the company is presenting a broad portfolio of electrification, propulsion and thermal management solutions designed to support manufacturers across battery-electric and combustion-powered commercial vehicle platforms.

BorgWarner’s showcase reflects the company’s approach to propulsion diversity, with technologies developed to help commercial vehicle manufacturers address growing requirements for improved efficiency, performance, durability and sustainability. Among the key technologies on display is BorgWarner’s next-generation LFP Compact Pack, which is being showcased for the first time at a European trade show. The battery system features a redesigned architecture focused on optimising weight, footprint and cost while supporting improved performance, energy efficiency and operational lifetime.

The Compact Pack forms part of BorgWarner’s broader portfolio of advanced battery technologies for commercial vehicles. Alongside battery systems, the company is highlighting integrated eDrive solutions, power electronics and thermal management technologies at the exhibition.

The portfolio demonstrates BorgWarner’s ability to support multiple propulsion pathways as commercial vehicle manufacturers navigate the transition towards lower-emission transportation. By combining electrification technologies with solutions for combustion-powered vehicles, the company aims to provide manufacturers with technologies suited to different vehicle applications, operating conditions and market requirements.

“Commercial vehicle manufacturers must balance increasingly complex requirements, from emissions reduction and energy efficiency to performance, durability and cost,” said Dr Paul Farrell, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, BorgWarner Inc. “IAA Transportation provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how BorgWarner’s technology portfolio helps our customers address these challenges today while preparing for the mobility needs of tomorrow.”

At IAA Transportation 2026, BorgWarner is bringing together technologies spanning propulsion, energy storage, power electronics and thermal management to demonstrate how integrated technology solutions can contribute to more efficient commercial vehicles.

BorgWarner’s presence at the exhibition also provides an opportunity for customers, industry stakeholders and media representatives to engage with BorgWarner executives and technology experts and gain insights into its latest developments for the commercial vehicle sector.

BorgWarner’s portfolio supports a range of commercial vehicle propulsion strategies, including battery-electric and combustion-powered platforms. Through continued technology development and a focus on propulsion diversity, the company is working with manufacturers to address the evolving requirements of commercial transportation while improving vehicle efficiency, performance and sustainability.
