BikeWo Green Tech Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Evify Logitech Private Limited to explore the development of a technology and data platform for electric logistics. The proposed partnership will combine Evify’s app-based logistics and rider data with hardware-enabled data acquisition capabilities that BikeWo plans to develop and deploy. The companies intend to use this combined data layer with artificial intelligence and analytics to create solutions for fleet management, route optimisation, rider and vehicle performance, predictive insights and logistics intelligence.
BikeWo and Evify plan to conduct technology pilots to assess data quality, hardware performance, operational applications and commercial potential. The collaboration may eventually lead to the development of datasets, algorithms, models and technology solutions that can be used across the wider mobility and logistics sector.
As an initial step, the companies plan to deploy approximately 500 electric vehicles across Evify’s logistics operations. Subject to successful implementation of the first phase and agreement on commercial and operational terms, the partnership could scale cumulative deployment to approximately 10,000 electric vehicles over the next three years.
The proposed fleet deployment will provide a real-world environment for testing and improving data-led technologies. By connecting vehicles, riders and logistics operations, the companies aim to build a technology platform that can support more efficient electric fleet management.
The partnership is part of BikeWo’s broader strategy to develop an integrated mobility and logistics platform. The company plans to use technology and data intelligence to connect electric vehicles, fleet operations and logistics services.
Hiten Pal Saklani, Chief Executive Officer of BikeWo Green Tech Limited, said technology and data would play an increasingly important role in improving the efficiency of large mobility and logistics fleets. He said the partnership with Evify would combine operational data with hardware-enabled data acquisition and AI capabilities, while the proposed vehicle deployment would provide a practical environment to develop and scale these solutions.
Devrishi Arora, CEO, Evify Logitech Private Limited, said the company had built its operations around technology-enabled electric logistics. He said combining Evify’s operational and app-based capabilities with BikeWo’s proposed hardware and data solutions could create new intelligence around fleets, riders and logistics operations.
The definitive commercial and technical terms for the collaboration will be agreed separately by the two companies. The proposed scale-up to 10,000 vehicles remains subject to the successful completion of the initial phase, financing, vehicle availability and mutually agreed commercial arrangements.
