BEUMER Group, a global leader in intralogistics and material handling solutions, today announced the establishment of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Jhajjar, marking a significant expansion of the company’s footprint in India. The new plant will serve as a strategic hub for producing advanced material handling systems for customers across airports, logistics, e-commerce, cement, and other industrial sectors.
The Jhajjar facility underscores BEUMER Group’s long-term commitment to the Indian market, which continues to see strong demand for automated handling solutions driven by rapid growth in manufacturing, warehousing, and digital commerce. The plant will manufacture a range of technologies including high-speed sortation systems, conveyor systems, airport baggage handling equipment, and components for bulk material handling—helping India build world-class supply chain and infrastructure capabilities.
Construction of the facility is underway, with commissioning scheduled for 2026. Once operational, the plant is expected to significantly increase BEUMER Group’s domestic production capacity, reduce lead times for Indian customers, and enhance the company’s ability to deliver large-scale turnkey projects with greater localization. The Jhajjar site will also integrate advanced automation, energy-efficient systems, and strict quality protocols in line with BEUMER Group’s global manufacturing standards.
The plant is also expected to create new employment opportunities in engineering, operations, quality management, and supply chain roles. BEUMER Group plans to work closely with local suppliers and partners to build a strong ecosystem that supports the full lifecycle of its material handling solutions.

In 2011, we took a major step by acquiring an Indian SME, followed by the inauguration of our modern 4,228-square-metre office in Gurugram in 2023. Today, we mark another important milestone with the inauguration of this state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, built on a 42,508 sqm plot at Reliance MET City.”
Mr Vyas went on to say “When the need arose to relocate from our earlier facility, Reliance MET City emerged as the clear choice—a rapidly developing industrial hub in North India that truly offers a ‘plug-and-play’ ecosystem for global companies. This factory will not only cater to the Indian market but will also serve BEUMER customers worldwide, delivering the quality and excellence we are known for. Completing this project in just 15 months, from land identification to inauguration, is a remarkable achievement. This vision could not have been realised without the strong support of the Reliance MET City team under the leadership of SV Goyal.”
