Belrise Industries Limited has completed the acquisition of H-One India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Japanese automotive components maker H-One Co Ltd. The acquisition is a key part of Belrise’s growth strategy as it gears up for a public listing.
H-One India specializes in the production of high-tensile steel components and tooling for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. These lightweight components are designed to meet modern standards for safety and environmental compliance while improving fuel efficiency.
Through this acquisition, Belrise aims to broaden its reach among both Indian and Japanese original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), while also offering a more diverse product mix to its current clients.
The transaction includes the integration of H-One India’s two manufacturing plants located in North India. Belrise expects this move to enhance overall production capacity and streamline its supply chain and logistics.
The acquisition was supported by advisory firms X-B4 Advisory and Desai &Diwanji, who acted as advisors to Belrise.
Founded in 1996, Belrise is a key supplier of automotive components for vehicles ranging from two-wheelers to commercial and agricultural vehicles. The company currently operates 15 manufacturing facilities across India.
As of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, Belrise held a 24% share in India’s two-wheeler metal components market and reported operational revenue of ₹74,842.41 million. The company has filed a draft red herring prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as part of its preparation for an initial public offering, subject to regulatory approvals and market conditions.
