Bajaj Healthcare Limited, a leading manufacturer of APIs, intermediates, formulations, and nutraceuticals, has announced its audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026, highlighting strong export growth, improved profitability, and continued progress across product development and regulatory initiatives.

The company reported a 12.6 percent year-on-year increase in FY26 revenue, driven primarily by robust growth in API exports and steady momentum in the formulations business. API exports surged 51.6 percent during the year, supported by increasing demand across regulated markets including Europe, the UK, Latin America, and other international regions.

Despite a challenging operating environment marked by price erosion in domestic APIs and rising raw material costs linked to geopolitical developments in West Asia, the company maintained stable quarterly revenues while delivering healthy profitability growth. Profit After Tax from continuing operations before exceptional items increased 19 percent year-on-year during the quarter, reflecting operational efficiency, disciplined cost management, and improved business mix. The formulations segment continued to strengthen its contribution to the overall business portfolio, while the CDMO business also gained traction with gradual scale-up in supplies and commercial execution.

During the year, Bajaj Healthcare made significant progress in its product pipeline and regulatory expansion strategy. The company filed 41 Drug Master Files (DMFs) in the fourth quarter, taking the cumulative tally to 110 filings, further strengthening its presence in regulated and high-value global markets.

In the CNS segment, Cenobamate, a novel anti-epileptic molecule under development, progressed as planned through Phase III clinical trials and is expected to be launched in the second quarter of FY27. The company also successfully completed the bioequivalence study for Suvorexant Tablets and plans to submit the application to the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) shortly. To strengthen its financial position and support expansion initiatives, the company converted 2,079,409 warrants into equity shares during the quarter, raising additional capital of ₹527 million.

Commenting on the performance, Anil Jain, Managing Director, said the company continued to witness strong traction in export markets while maintaining growth momentum across formulations and specialty businesses. He added that Bajaj Healthcare remains focused on expanding its footprint in high-potential segments such as peptides, oncology, and CNS through sustained investments in manufacturing capacity, research and development, and innovation-led product development.
