AviaNera Technologies, part of the international industrial and technology group CSG, and Ukrainian Armor LLC have entered into a strategic partnership agreement aimed at expanding cooperation in the development, production and supply of advanced propulsion systems for Ukraine’s missile and unmanned platforms. The agreement was signed on the opening day of Eurosatory 2026 in Paris, one of the world’s premier defence and security exhibitions. The partnership marks a significant step toward strengthening industrial collaboration between the two companies while supporting the continued modernization of Ukraine’s defence manufacturing capabilities.
Under the terms of the agreement, AviaNera Technologies and Ukrainian Armor will work together on the supply of engines across multiple power categories designed for use in missile systems and unmanned aerial platforms. The collaboration also outlines a framework for future joint ventures, expansion of manufacturing infrastructure, technology transfer initiatives and the localization of selected production capabilities within Ukraine.
The partnership comes at a time when demand for advanced propulsion technologies continues to grow across the defence sector. By combining AviaNera’s expertise in propulsion systems with Ukrainian Armor’s experience in defence manufacturing and systems integration, the two companies aim to accelerate the development and deployment of next-generation defence technologies.
Pavel Čechal, Chief Executive Officer of AviaNera Technologies, said the company is rapidly increasing production of propulsion units for unmanned aerial vehicles and guided missile systems. He noted that propulsion technologies often represent one of the most critical components in the production chain and emphasized the company’s strategy of expanding manufacturing capacity while establishing localized production in key strategic markets. He added that the partnership builds upon an already successful relationship between the two organizations, including previous cooperation on licensed production initiatives.
Vladyslav Belbas, Chief Executive Officer of Ukrainian Armor LLC, described the agreement as an important milestone in enhancing Ukraine’s missile and unmanned capabilities. He stated that the collaboration will create new opportunities for manufacturing advanced propulsion systems while facilitating the integration of modern European technologies into Ukrainian defence platforms. The long-term objective, he noted, is to jointly develop future generations of precision-guided systems and strengthen Ukraine’s position within the broader European defence ecosystem.
The agreement reflects a shared commitment to industrial innovation, technological advancement and defence sector resilience. Through expanded cooperation, both organizations aim to contribute to the growth of a stronger and more self-reliant defence industry while fostering deeper integration between Ukrainian and European defence manufacturing capabilities.
