Avaada Group announced plans to invest Rs 50,000 crore in renewable energy projects in Madhya Pradesh over the next five years. This investment marks the company’s commitment to expanding its operations in the state.
The Avaada Group, actively engaged in Madhya Pradesh’s green energy sector since 2010, played a key role in establishing the state’s first large-scale solar power plant, boasting a capacity of 151 megawatts. Over time, the company has broadened its footprint by undertaking several renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and pumped storage battery systems.
Vineet Mittal, Chairman of Avaada Group, announced that the company is exploring an investment of ₹50,000 crore in the state, with the majority expected to materialize within the next three to four years. Avaada’s regional initiatives are backed by international investors like Thailand’s PTT Group and Brookfield, with the company securing funding for its ongoing projects, many of which are part of national tenders organized by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
Mittal emphasized the company’s dedication to Madhya Pradesh’s long-term growth, highlighting the significant role these renewable energy projects will play in the state’s development. He made these remarks during the Madhya Pradesh Global Investor Summit 2025, an event where the state is showcasing its investment potential to international businesses and investors.
