Kalyani Powertrain, a subsidiary of Bharat Forge, has partnered with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), a leading US-based chip manufacturer, to introduce locally produced server solutions to the Indian market. As part of this collaboration, AMD will provide design resources and technical documentation to help Kalyani Powertrain’s electronics division develop and optimize server solutions that meet international standards. On Monday, Bharat Forge unveiled servers powered by AMD’s EPYC processors, renowned for their high performance, energy efficiency, security features, and cost-effectiveness in data centers.

The inclusion of AMD EPYC processors now, along with plans for AMD Instinct accelerators in the future, will enable scalable, energy-efficient infrastructure for AI, cloud computing, and data centers,” said Vinay Sinha, Corporate Vice President at AMD.
