Automation Expo 2026, one of India’s leading exhibitions for industrial automation, instrumentation, robotics, and digital transformation, will return to the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, from 22 to 25 July 2026. The four-day event, organised by IED Communications Ltd will bring together more than 700 exhibitors, industry professionals, technology providers, and decision-makers from India and overseas.

The exhibition will serve as a platform for manufacturers, engineers, project teams, system integrators, startups, and industrial leaders to explore emerging technologies, identify new business opportunities, and understand the future direction of automation-driven industries. Under the leadership of Dr M Arokiaswamy, founder of IED Communications Ltd., Automation Expo has developed into a key industry forum connecting technology innovators with users across manufacturing, process industries, infrastructure, and energy sectors. The event provides visitors with opportunities to discover new suppliers, interact with technical experts, explore partnerships, and gain insights into evolving industrial requirements.

A major attraction at Automation Expo 2026 will be the Futuristic Control Room, scheduled from 22 to 24 July. The dedicated showcase will focus on next-generation control room concepts, integrated operations, and AI-enabled remote monitoring. The programme will bring together plant heads, control room operators, project teams, and instrumentation professionals to discuss critical topics including centralised monitoring, real-time decision support, digital twins, remote operations, operator efficiency, safety, and reliability.

Dr Srikant Patil, Chief Executive Officer of Maharashtra State Innovation Society, will attend the event as Chief Guest. Exhibitors at the expo will demonstrate a wide range of technologies covering process and factory automation, robotics, machine vision, control systems, sensors, Industrial IoT, artificial intelligence, digital twins, predictive maintenance, operational technology cybersecurity, energy management, and industrial software solutions.

“Automation Expo 2026 provides exhibitors with direct access to professionals responsible for technology selection, projects, and purchasing decisions,” organisers said. “The event enables companies to demonstrate real-world applications to plant heads, engineering teams, and procurement leaders while creating opportunities for meaningful business engagement.”

The exhibition will also support project planners and EPC teams as industries increasingly integrate automation, digitalisation, cybersecurity, and energy efficiency into new facilities and expansion projects from the initial design stage. An OT-Cybersecurity Workshop on 25 July will address emerging challenges in protecting industrial control systems, including DCS, PLC, and SCADA networks, as connected manufacturing environments become more widespread.

The event will feature an Innovation & Startup Zone highlighting emerging industrial technology companies, along with solutions in drives, motion control, edge computing, test and measurement, and safety systems. Automation Expo 2026 is open to plant managers, project engineers, maintenance professionals, automation specialists, procurement leaders, startup founders, researchers, and students seeking to explore the technologies shaping the future of industrial operations.
