ASK Automotive Limited, India’s leading manufacturer of brake shoes and advanced braking systems for two-wheelers, today announced its financial results for the second quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025, reporting its strongest-ever quarterly performance in revenue, EBITDA, and PAT. ASK Automotive Limited delivered a robust performance in the second quarter of FY2025-26, registering strong growth across key financial metrics.

Revenue grew by 16.6% year-on-year (excluding the Wheel Assembly business), driven by higher volumes and improved contribution from value-added product lines. The company strategically reduced its Wheel Assembly business by 53.6%, aligning with its ongoing portfolio optimization efforts. As a result, consolidated revenue for the quarter stood at ₹1,059 crore, reflecting a healthy 8.5% year-on-year increase.

Performance across business verticals remained strong, underscoring ASK Automotive’s diversified growth strategy. The Advanced Braking Systems segment grew by 10%, while Aluminium Lightweight Precision Solutions reported an impressive 22% year-on-year increase, supported by rising demand for lightweight components. The Safety Control Cables division posted a modest 2% growth. Export revenue during the quarter was ₹30 crore, compared to ₹41 crore in the same period last year, reflecting lower overseas demand and shipment adjustments.

Operational efficiency and scale expansion translated into record profitability for the company. ASK Automotive delivered its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of ₹142 crore, representing a 19.5% year-on-year increase. EBITDA margins improved to 13.4%, marking a 124 basis points rise over the previous year. Excluding the impact of higher aluminium alloy prices, margins would have reached 13.7%, highlighting the company’s underlying strength in cost management and process efficiency.

Profitability remained equally strong at the bottom line. The company recorded a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹80 crore, reflecting an 18.6% year-on-year growth, which also marked the highest quarterly PAT in its history. Earnings per share (EPS) rose to ₹4.05, compared to ₹3.41 in Q2 FY2024-25, further reinforcing ASK Automotive’s consistent value creation for shareholders. The improvement in profitability was largely driven by enhanced capacity utilization at the Karoli and Bangalore facilities, along with operational efficiencies and the planned exit from low-margin segments.

For the first half of FY2025-26, ASK Automotive sustained its growth momentum with a 14% year-on-year revenue increase (excluding the Wheel Assembly business). The company continued its strategic realignment, reducing its Wheel Assembly operations by 53.5% to sharpen its focus on higher-value areas. Consolidated revenue for the half year stood at ₹1,954 crore, up 6.1% year-on-year, reflecting stable performance across business lines and improved product mix.

Segmental growth remained encouraging during H1 FY26. The Advanced Braking Systems business rose 7%, the Aluminium Lightweight Precision Solutions segment expanded 19%, and the Safety Control Cables business increased 4% over the same period last year. Export revenue stood at ₹63 crore, compared to ₹74 crore in the previous year. EBITDA reached ₹265 crore, registering a 19.4% year-on-year increase, while EBITDA margins improved to 13.6%, up 151 basis points. The company’s PAT stood at ₹146 crore, up 17.5% year-on-year, and EPS increased to ₹7.40, compared to ₹6.30 in H1 FY25.

Commenting on the results, Kuldip Singh Rathee, Chairman and Managing Director, said, “We are pleased to report another quarter of strong growth in both revenue and profitability. This marks the eighth consecutive quarter of consistent performance since our listing. During Q2 FY26, we achieved our highest-ever quarterly revenue, EBITDA, and PAT, supported by double-digit growth in our core business segments and operational efficiencies. Despite the increase in aluminium alloy prices, we maintained healthy margins through effective cost management and improved plant utilization. Our facilities at Karoli and Bangalore continue to ramp up efficiently, driving economies of scale and strengthening our financial performance. With a 14% revenue increase in the first half and strong gains in EBITDA and PAT, we remain focused on scaling our high-value businesses, enhancing productivity, and sustaining our growth trajectory. We are confident of maintaining our track record of outperforming industry growth in the coming quarters.”
