Ashok Leyland Gets Big Order for 2104 Buses from MSRTC

Ashok Leyland, has received its largest order yet. The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has ordered 2104 Viking passenger buses. This order will help strengthen Ashok Leyland’s position in the bus market.

MSRTC, one of India’s largest state transport undertakings with a fleet of over 15,000 buses, will see Ashok Leyland buses becoming a significant part of its operations. These state-of-the-art buses will comply with the latest CMVR standards, featuring an AIS 153 compliant body, iGEN6 BS VI OBD II technology with a 197 HP H-Series Engine, and Rear Air Suspension, ensuring enhanced safety, improved comfort, and lower total cost of ownership for MSRTC.

Mr Shenu Agarwal, Managing Director & CEO of Ashok Leyland, expressed enthusiasm about the continued partnership with MSRTC, highlighting their commitment to producing efficient and technologically advanced products that support public transportation growth in India.
