Pratt & Whitney, a business of RTX (NYSE: RTX), has appointed Ashish Saraf as Vice President and Country Head for India. In his new role, Ashish will oversee the company’s strategic initiatives and expansion efforts across the Indian market.
As the senior-most leader for Pratt & Whitney in India, Ashish will be responsible for driving growth across key business functions, including engineering, supply chain, customer service, operations, and digital transformation. His leadership is expected to further strengthen the company’s presence and operations in the region.
Prior to joining Pratt & Whitney, Ashish was the Country Director and Chairman of Thales India, where he led operations spanning aerospace, defense, biometrics, cybersecurity, and the company’s Global Capability Center. He brings over two decades of experience across consulting and industry roles, with expertise in the aerospace, defense, and manufacturing sectors. His earlier leadership positions include roles at Airbus, the Tata-Sikorsky joint venture, and Deloitte Consulting, where he worked on strategy and operations for clients across the U.S. and Europe.
