Affordable Robotic and Automation Limited (ARAPL) (BSE: 541402 | NSE: AFFORDABLE), India’s first listed robotics company, announced that its subsidiary ARAPL RaaS (Humro) has received a significant order from a leading U.S.-based logistics company for its autonomous forklift robots. The deal, valued at ₹4.13 crore, includes six units leased for two years, marking Humro’s expansion into a new product segment and strengthening ARAPL’s international footprint.

The order follows three months of successful prototype testing at the client’s facilities and could lead to large-scale deployments, with up to 50 autonomous mobile robots planned for each of the client’s two warehouses in the United States over the next two years. Commenting on the development, Milind Padolee, Founder and Managing Director of ARAPL, said, “We are proud to see growing global confidence in our technology. This order not only validates our design and performance standards but also reinforces our goal of placing Make in India robots on the global stage. As we expand internationally, we are committed to building world-class automation platforms that redefine efficiency and reliability.”

The Humro autonomous forklift features LiDAR-based navigation, real-time obstacle detection, and precision control systems, enabling round-the-clock, fully automated operation. It seamlessly integrates with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms, enhancing productivity while reducing operational costs.

ARAPL RaaS (Humro) focuses on Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for warehouses, logistics centers, and manufacturing facilities. Powered by ARAPL’s i-ware controller, the robots use AI, advanced navigation, and swarm robotics to provide scalable and intelligent automation solutions.

To support its growth ambitions, ARAPL has announced an investment of USD 8–10 million in Humro, including USD 3 million personally infused by Milind Padolee as an interest-free loan, with an option for equity conversion. “Since its inception in 2021, Humro has consistently delivered on innovation and performance. With a growing product lineup and strong client validation, we are ready to expand our global customer base,” Mr Padolee added.

Founded in 2005, ARAPL has evolved from a Pune-based startup into a global automation leader, employing over 400 professionals across a 350,000 sq ft facility. The company has deployed more than 7,000 industrial robots and 10,000 automated car parking systems worldwide.
