Anuga Select India 2026, co-located with Anuga FoodTec India 2026, is set to bring together the global food, beverage and food technology community in Mumbai from September 29 to October 1, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. The exhibitions will connect food and beverage manufacturers, international suppliers, importers, exporters, distributors, retailers, HoReCa professionals and industry decision-makers on a common B2B platform.

Organised by Koelnmesse Pvt Ltd, the exhibitions will build on the momentum of the 2025 edition, which attracted more than 27,000 trade visitors and over 380 exhibitors from 19 countries. The 2026 edition will provide opportunities for product discovery, sourcing, networking and international business partnerships across segments including Agrifoods, Dairy, Drinks & Hot Beverages, Fine Foods, Food Service, Organic, and Sweets & Snacks.

A precursor event held in New Delhi on September 3 brought together senior representatives from government, industry associations and international trade missions to discuss opportunities across India’s evolving food and beverage sector. Participants included Dr JP Dongre, Deputy Agricultural Marketing Advisor & Director, Ministry of Food Processing Industries; Amit Lohani, Founder & Director, Forum of Indian Food Importers; Dr Raghav Jadli, President, All India Food Producers Association; Volker Klima, Head of Agriculture & Food Division, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, New Delhi; Pawel Stachowiak, Counsellor, Trade & Economic Affairs, European Union; and Milind Dixit, Managing Director – India & SAARC Region, Koelnmesse Pvt Ltd.

The discussions highlighted India’s expanding food-processing ecosystem and the opportunities presented by rising domestic consumption, global sourcing and international trade. Dr. J.P. Dongre noted the potential to increase India’s food-processing levels while strengthening storage, cold-chain and processing infrastructure. Industry representatives also highlighted growing demand for international foods, technology partnerships, advanced processing, packaging, automation and value-added products.

International trade opportunities will be another focus. Pawel Stachowiak highlighted the potential for stronger EU-India agri-food trade, while Volker Klima pointed to opportunities for deeper India-Germany-EU cooperation. A dedicated German Pavilion featuring at least 12 companies across food, beverages, confectionery and processing will be part of the Mumbai exhibition.

The 2026 edition will feature curated networking and matchmaking, industry conferences, the Culinary Corner, Retail Walk, CEO roundtables and other experiential programmes designed to connect producers, manufacturers, retailers, foodservice operators and buyers.

With India’s foodservice market projected to grow from USD 85.19 billion in 2025 to USD 93.97 billion in 2026 and agricultural exports reaching USD 51.91 billion in FY2024-25, the exhibitions are positioned as a platform for companies seeking to expand in India’s growing food and beverage market.
