Allcargo Logistics Limited is using Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications to automate financial processes, improve operational visibility and strengthen financial controls, reducing its month-end closing time by 30%. The company has moved its finance operations from legacy on-premises systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The platform brings more than 4,000 users and over 700 operating units onto a single integrated system, helping standardise processes across its distributed operations.

Founded in 1993, Allcargo Logistics operates more than 700 facilities in India and serves customers across sectors including e-commerce, automobiles and pharmaceuticals. The company adopted the cloud platform to support its expansion, reduce manual work and improve access to financial information.

Sanjay Khiyani, Chief Information Officer of Allcargo Logistics, said digital transformation was central to the company’s growth strategy and efforts to improve operational performance. He said the integrated platform had created a foundation for using artificial intelligence to simplify routine tasks, improve visibility and support the company’s future requirements.

Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP has helped Allcargo standardise and automate finance activities, reduce manual processing and improve financial reporting. Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement has also been deployed to automate purchasing processes and provide teams with a consistent view of procurement activity across operating units. The applications are designed to help finance and procurement teams spend less time on routine transactions and process management, while improving controls and access to information for decision-making.

Shailesh Singla, Vice President of Cloud Applications at Oracle India, said logistics companies needed business applications that could help them manage increasingly complex supply chains and rising customer expectations. He said Oracle’s AI capabilities and Fusion Agentic Applications were intended to automate routine work and allow employees to focus on decisions that require business judgment. The implementation was managed by Grant Thornton Bharat, an Oracle PartnerNetwork partner.
