Allcargo Logistics Limited has announced a major expansion of its domestic distribution capabilities with the launch of Allcargo Extended Reach (AER), a revamped and rebranded version of its earlier Extra Serviceable Stations network. Following the approval of the company’s restructuring plan, AER represents a significant step in strengthening nationwide accessibility and enhancing last-mile service delivery across India.

With the introduction of AER, Allcargo Logistics now maps and services 100 percent of India’s available PIN codes, expanding its coverage from 21,000 to more than 32,000 mapped PIN codes. This expansion reflects detailed location mapping that identifies granular service clusters within each Government of India PIN code. In addition, the company has more than doubled its directly serviceable PIN codes—from 4,900 to over 10,000—served through Allcargo Distribution Centres, enabling faster transit times, improved reliability, and greater operational control.

Commenting on the development, Ketan Kulkarni, Managing Director and CEO, Allcargo Logistics, said, “The launch of AER marks a pivotal milestone in our domestic logistics journey. By mapping every available PIN code and significantly expanding our direct service footprint, we are delivering enhanced speed, consistency, and market access for our customers. Supported by AI-led planning and optimised distribution networks, we are well-positioned to support India’s next phase of consumption-led growth and strengthen our role as a trusted logistics partner.”

The expansion comes at a time when logistics demand is increasingly shifting beyond metropolitan centres, with Tier II, III, IV, and remote regions emerging as high-growth consumption markets. Through AER, Allcargo Logistics now offers seamless connectivity to some of the country’s most challenging geographies, including Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, the Western Ghats, Port Blair, and the Northeastern region. This broader reach significantly enhances last-mile delivery and enables businesses to access new markets with greater predictability.

To support the rollout, Allcargo Logistics has undertaken a comprehensive operational transformation, deploying AI-driven planning tools, intelligent routing systems, and fully digitised workflows. The company has also expanded and optimised its transshipment centres, increasing their number from 21 to 71, while strengthening hub infrastructure and line-haul connectivity nationwide.

AER reinforces Allcargo Logistics’ long-term vision of becoming India’s most dependable logistics partner, supporting MSMEs, digital-first enterprises, and large organisations alike. The initiative aligns with the country’s shift toward a more formal, technology-enabled economy and underscores the company’s commitment to driving supply chain modernisation across India.

Following the composite Scheme of Arrangement, Allcargo Logistics Limited now houses its Domestic Supply Chain business, which includes express distribution and consultative logistics, while its International Supply Chain business operates as Allcargo Global. The company combines deep industry expertise with a digital-first approach to deliver reliable logistics solutions across India. Its service portfolio spans express distribution, air freight, e-commerce logistics, and first- and last-mile delivery, along with specialised B2C offerings such as Laabh, Bike Express, and Student Express. Listed on BSE and NSE, Allcargo Logistics remains committed to ESG principles and has set a target of achieving 100 percent carbon neutrality by 2040.
