India’s role in the global aerospace industry continues to rise, with Airbus preparing to deliver more than 1,000 aircraft to Indian carriers such as IndiGo and Air India in the coming years. As part of its visit to India, the Airbus Board of Directors engaged with senior government officials and toured the advanced production facility of its key local partner, Dynamatic Technologies, in Bangalore.

Dynamatic Technologies signed a contract with Airbus in February last year. Since then, the program has been brought into production at an impressive pace, with all eight A220 Aft Service Doors currently ahead of schedule. The first AI-enabled First Article Inspection (FAI) of the A220 Aft Service Door was conducted during the Board’s visit—marking a major project milestone and showcasing the rapid progress of this collaboration.

The partnership between Airbus and Dynamatic is built on a strong foundation of trust, innovation, and shared ambition. This visit underscores the importance of that relationship and highlights the long-term potential for deeper cooperation on future programs that push the boundaries of aerospace engineering and manufacturing.

This milestone also coincides with Airbus holding its Board meeting in India for the first time—demonstrating the company’s growing commitment to India as a strategic partner in global manufacturing. The collaboration with Dynamatic further strengthens the ‘Make in India’ initiative by supporting local production, creating jobs, and boosting the country’s aerospace capabilities.

Dynamatic Technologies designs and manufactures high-precision components for the aerospace, automotive, hydraulic, and security sectors. With advanced engineering and manufacturing sites in India (Bangalore), the UK (Swindon and Bristol), and Germany (Schwarzenberg), the company is positioned to deliver on complex customer requirements across six continents.

Its global footprint includes R&D and design centers in both India and Europe, supported by a team of over 90 scientists and 650 engineers with expertise in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, computational analysis, fluid dynamics, and aerospace design.
