AFC Furniture Solutions, one of India’s fastest-growing manufacturers of modular and ergonomic office furniture, has announced a major expansion across Maharashtra, with a strategic focus on Pune’s technology hubs and Nagpur’s emerging industrial ecosystem. The company aims to strengthen its presence in western India as demand for modern workplace infrastructure accelerates across Global Capability Centres (GCCs), IT parks and industrial developments.

The expansion will focus on Pune’s Hinjewadi technology corridor and Nagpur’s Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport (MIHAN), two regions witnessing significant commercial and industrial investments. AFC expects western India to contribute 25–30% of its overall revenue as businesses continue to invest in high-quality, sustainable office environments.

Pune has emerged as one of India’s leading destinations for GCCs and technology companies. According to industry data, GCCs accounted for nearly 69% of the city’s office leasing activity during the first quarter of 2026, with Hinjewadi, Kharadi and Baner remaining the preferred business locations. The region hosts more than 900 companies operating across Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and non-SEZ developments, creating strong demand for workplace solutions.

Nagpur is also gaining momentum as an industrial and logistics destination through the continued expansion of MIHAN. The Maharashtra Government’s plans to develop New Nagpur into a major business and financial district are expected to create new opportunities across commercial infrastructure and corporate office development.

Commenting on the expansion, Maanoj Tomar, Founder of AFC Furniture Solutions, said the Maharashtra GCC Policy 2025 has reinforced the company’s long-term strategy for the state. He noted that the policy’s objective of establishing 400 new Global Capability Centres, generating four lakh skilled jobs and attracting investments of more than ₹50,000 crore by FY2030 demonstrates Maharashtra’s commitment to becoming a leading destination for global businesses. According to him, AFC had identified Pune and Nagpur as high-growth markets well before the policy announcement and is now positioned to support this next phase of industrial expansion.

AFC Furniture Solutions has already established a strong presence across Mumbai’s commercial real estate market, having completed workplace projects for organisations including Trilegal, Emirates, Tata Capital, WNS, HDFC, Unity Bank, ICICI Bank, IDFC Bank and NPCI. The company now plans to leverage this experience to deepen its presence across Maharashtra through closer collaboration with developers, architects and corporate clients.

The expansion is backed by AFC’s four lakh square foot IGBC Gold-rated manufacturing facility in Noida, which has a monthly production capacity exceeding 18,000 workstations and ergonomic seating systems. The company also recently completed the large-scale workplace fit-out for Noida International Airport, supplying more than 6,000 low-emission furniture systems across nearly one lakh square metres while achieving a recyclability rate of 66%.

As India’s first furniture manufacturer to receive the BIFMA Level 3 certification, AFC aims to bring its expertise in sustainable workplace solutions to Pune and Nagpur, supporting the growing demand for environmentally responsible office infrastructure while strengthening its footprint in one of India’s fastest-growing commercial markets.
