Accuracy Shipping Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) for setting up a Container Freight Station (CFS) at Kandla, Gujarat. The LoI, dated September 10, 2026, has been issued to ARS Terminals (India) Private Limited, a subsidiary in which Accuracy Shipping holds a 99.80% stake. The proposed CFS will be located at Plot No. 7, Sector 10B, Kandla, Gandhidham, Kachchh, Gujarat.
The facility will handle import and export cargo and is expected to be operational within one year from the date of the LoI. With a planned handling and storage capacity of around 5,000 containers per month and 80,000 containers annually, the CFS is expected to expand Accuracy Shipping’s presence in the container logistics and cargo handling segment.
The project involves an estimated capital expenditure of approximately ₹25 crore. The investment is proposed to be funded through a combination of debt and internal accruals. At peak operations and full utilisation, the CFS is expected to generate annual revenue of approximately ₹175–200 crore. The company expects the EBITDA margin to reach double-digit levels as the facility scales up and capacity utilisation improves.
Commenting on the development, Vinay Tripathi, Chairman and Managing Director, Accuracy Shipping Limited, said, “We are pleased to mark this important milestone in our growth journey with the addition of a new Container Freight Station at Kandla. This strategic expansion will further strengthen our integrated logistics capabilities, enable us to serve a wider customer base and create new opportunities for revenue growth. We believe the facility will also enhance our operating leverage and support improved profitability as utilization scales up. We remain focused on expanding our presence across key logistics hubs and delivering sustainable long-term value to our stakeholders.”
The Kandla facility is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to serve customers operating through one of Gujarat’s key trade and logistics hubs. It will also add to Accuracy Shipping’s existing service portfolio covering freight forwarding, customs clearance, transportation, warehousing and container logistics.
Accuracy Shipping provides integrated logistics solutions to customers across domestic and international markets. Its services cover multiple stages of cargo movement, enabling customers to access freight and container logistics services through a single platform.
The proposed CFS forms part of the company’s strategy to expand its physical logistics infrastructure and strengthen its presence at important trade locations. The facility is also expected to create additional opportunities for cargo handling and related logistics services as regional trade volumes grow.
With the proposed investment, Accuracy Shipping will add container freight station infrastructure to its existing logistics operations and expand its ability to handle import and export cargo. The company expects the Kandla CFS to become operational within 12 months of the LoI and to scale its operations progressively towards the planned annual capacity of 80,000 containers.
