AB Energia, a clean energy solutions provider, has entered the solar structure manufacturing segment with the launch of its subsidiary Aviisii Electric Systems. This move marks a step toward backward integration, strengthening India’s domestic clean energy manufacturing ecosystem while creating new revenue opportunities through third-party supply.
The new unit will produce high-performance fixed-tilt steel structures, a critical foundation for ground-mounted solar power plants. By bringing production in-house, AB Energia aims to achieve greater control over quality, reliability, and cost efficiency. According to the company, mounting structures account for 7–8% of total EPC costs, or roughly ₹18–20 lakh per MWp, making them central to plant durability and long-term performance.

Aviisii has already secured an order book exceeding ₹50 crore within its first six months of operations and is targeting a manufacturing capacity of over 5,000 tonnes of structures in its first phase. With this expansion, AB Energia expects to improve supply timelines, optimize costs, and strengthen reliability across its solar EPC projects, further reinforcing its role in India’s clean energy transition.
