HYDERABAD: Boeing has awarded Raghu Vamsi Machine Tools Pvt Ltd a contract to manufacture and supply precision components. For foreign and domestic original equipment manufacturers, the Hyderabad player manufactures critical parts and sub-assemblies for commercial airplanes, defense, and space systems (OEMs).
Raghu Vamsi will invest $15 million in a specialized facility near the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Adibatla to cater to Boeing’s needs as part of the agreement. Raghu Vamsi, who announced the partnership on Monday, said the facility will produce over 300 employment over the next three years.
Boeing India’s director of supply chain management, Ashwani Bhargava, described the collaboration as a significant step forward in the company’s commitment to the Atmanirbhar Bharat goal. “Boeing is committed to assisting the development of India’s aerospace and defence capabilities as a firm with over seven decades of presence in the country,” Bhargava said.
In the city, Raghu Vamsi has four stores.
