Orbital Mekatronik Systems Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer and supplier of safety, sensing, measuring and industrial automation products, will participate in Automation Expo India 2026, where it will launch its new Camera Vision systems alongside its existing portfolio of machine safety systems, sensing technologies, measurement solutions and robotics, at Hall No 6, Stall No K6 and K13.
Since its establishment in 2017, Orbital Mekatronik Systems has built a reputation for bringing international-quality automation products to Indian industry through partnerships with global technology providers. At this year’s edition of the expo, the company will present a wide-ranging set of solutions aimed at helping manufacturers move toward safer, smarter and more connected factory floors.
On the safety front, Orbital will highlight its AI-driven safety systems and smart safety light curtains, including I/O Link and Bluetooth-enabled variants, alongside safety laser scanners, safety relays, safety interlock switches and area and bin sensors designed to protect personnel on the shop floor.
Orbital Mekatronik Systems is the only Indian company to hold Category 4, SIL 3 and PLe certifications for its safety light curtains, the highest safety standards for such devices, and carries the same certification for its safety LiDAR range.
The company also holds a patent for its Pick to Light sensors, part of its bin sensor range, reflecting its continued investment in proprietary safety and automation technology.
The company’s measurement and motion feedback range will also be on display, featuring rotary encoders, linear potentiometers, linear transducers, optical linear scales and linear wire encoders. These solutions are built for CNC machinery, positioning systems, motion control and quality inspection applications across manufacturing operations.
Visitors to the stall can also explore Orbital’s robotics and automation offerings, including industrial, SCARA, Cartesian, desktop and dispensing robots, along with conveyor and transfer systems built for automated material handling. A particular highlight will be Orbital’s wafer-transfer robots from Hyulim, developed for the semiconductor industry. The company’s automation portfolio is further strengthened by its partnership with IDEC Corporation of Japan, which complements Orbital’s own range of safety and automation products.
A key highlight of this year’s showcase will be the launch of Orbital’s new Camera Vision systems, designed to automate product identification, defect detection and sorting on the production line. The systems are aimed at helping manufacturers reduce manual inspection dependency, improve consistency in quality checks and speed up sorting processes across a range of industrial applications.
Rounding out the showcase will be the company’s motion control and automation components, spanning HMI systems, PLC-related automation, RFID-enabled solutions, electric actuators, direct-drive motors, servo-electric press systems, and a range of control components including push buttons, relays and timers.
Speaking ahead of the expo, Ranjit Kambil, CEO and Director, Orbital Mekatronik Systems Pvt Ltd, said, “Automation Expo India is the right platform for us to introduce our Camera Vision systems to the market. Product identification, defect detection and sorting are areas where manufacturers still rely heavily on manual checks, and we believe vision-based automation can bring real gains in accuracy and speed. Alongside this launch, we are looking forward to showing visitors how our safety, sensing and robotics solutions come together to support their automation journeys.”
Automation Expo India 2026 brings together manufacturers, system integrators and technology providers from across the automation value chain. Orbital Mekatronik Systems presence at the event reflects its continued focus on machine safety, smart sensing and Industry 4.0-ready automation for Indian manufacturing.
