Avio Smart Market Stack Limited (ASMS), formerly known as Bartronics India Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UAL Biotech Pte Ltd to collaborate on advancing sustainable agriculture and strengthening rural ecosystems across India. This partnership aims to combine ASMS’s extensive rural digital infrastructure—spanning over 5,000 villages and reaching nearly 40 million farmers and rural residents—with UAL Biotech’s eco-friendly biological solutions. Together, the organizations will work to promote regenerative farming practices, enhance agricultural productivity, and introduce environmentally responsible solutions across agriculture, aquaculture, and related sectors.

Under the agreement, both companies will explore deploying bio-based agricultural inputs through ASMS’s platform while implementing farmer advisory services and training programs to encourage adoption at the grassroots level. The collaboration will also focus on building traceable, chemical-free supply chains and conducting pilot projects to demonstrate the effectiveness of sustainable farming methods.

By integrating digital reach with biotechnology innovation, the initiative seeks to improve soil health, increase crop yields, reduce dependency on harmful chemicals, and support long-term food security and rural economic development. The partnership will also emphasize data-driven farming techniques and scalable models that can be replicated across regions.

Commenting on the collaboration, Dr Raja Krishna Murthy M, Head of Agri Tech Business at ASMS, said the initiative represents a significant step toward creating a more integrated and sustainable agricultural ecosystem that empowers farmers while ensuring environmental responsibility.

R Chakrapani, Director at UAL Biotech, noted that the partnership will enable the large-scale adoption of advanced biological solutions, helping farming communities transition to safer and more sustainable practices.

This collaboration marks an important milestone in transforming agriculture through the convergence of digital infrastructure and bio-innovation, creating long-term value for farmers and the broader rural economy. ASMS operates as a rural financial inclusion and technology company focused on developing integrated rural commerce and agri-tech platforms. Through Project AVIO, it continues to expand its efforts in building efficient, scalable, and technology-enabled agricultural ecosystems.
