Cyient Limited, a global provider of intelligent engineering solutions, has entered into a strategic partnership with Prospecta, a specialist in enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance technologies. The collaboration aims to help asset-intensive industries establish a unified digital data foundation that supports advanced analytics, predictive maintenance and artificial intelligence applications.

The partnership combines Cyient’s expertise in engineering services and asset lifecycle management with Prospecta’s cloud-native master data management platform. Together, the companies plan to deliver an integrated solution designed to transform fragmented operational data into a consistent and trusted source of information.

Industries such as mining, energy and transportation operate complex infrastructure assets across geographically distributed environments. However, inconsistent data structures, disconnected systems and manual data corrections often limit the ability of organisations to extract meaningful insights from operational information.

By creating a harmonised master data layer, the joint solution aims to provide organisations with a reliable digital backbone that connects operational technology systems with enterprise IT platforms. This unified structure will help companies improve data reliability, strengthen operational visibility and enable advanced technologies such as digital twins and predictive analytics.

The platform integrates with existing enterprise and operational systems, allowing organisations to modernise asset and service lifecycle management without disrupting current operations. It also supports multi-site and global deployments where large volumes of asset information must be standardised and governed across multiple locations.

Harjott Atrii, Chief Business Officer for Strategic Initiatives at Cyient, said industries are entering a phase where artificial intelligence and advanced analytics can significantly improve operational performance. However, he noted that these technologies depend on accurate and trusted data. Through the partnership with Prospecta, Cyient aims to help organisations establish a governed data foundation that supports improved reliability, operational safety and performance management.

Ranjan Bakshi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Prospecta, said master data serves as the foundation for intelligent operations. By combining Prospecta’s data management platform with Cyient’s industry expertise, the partnership will address asset and service lifecycle challenges that many industrial organisations face.

The companies will collaborate on solution development, innovation initiatives and global go-to-market programmes focused on industries that rely heavily on infrastructure assets. The goal is to help organisations move from fragmented information environments to a unified data ecosystem capable of supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Founded in 1991, Cyient provides engineering and technology solutions across products, plants and networks. The company serves more than 300 global customers and works with many of the world’s leading innovators across industries.

Prospecta provides enterprise data management and governance solutions that enable organisations to maintain accurate, consistent and business-ready master data across complex ERP and operational environments. Its MDO platform helps enterprises manage data across assets, products, customers and systems while supporting AI-driven insights and large-scale data governance.
