NDR Warehousing has inaugurated its 0.7 million square feet ‘NDR BigBox – Warehouse 2’ facility in Pune, strengthening its footprint in one of India’s most strategic logistics markets. The expansion aligns with the country’s accelerating infrastructure development, supported by investments in highways, industrial corridors, and manufacturing-led growth.

This marks the company’s third development in Pune. With the addition of the new BigBox facility, NDR Warehousing’s total operational footprint in the city now stands at approximately 1.5 million square feet. The milestone reinforces Pune’s importance within the company’s broader national expansion roadmap and highlights sustained demand for high-quality logistics infrastructure in the region.

The facility is located in Sudhawadi, Maval, around 5 kilometres from Chakan, Pune’s established automobile and manufacturing hub. The strategic location provides strong connectivity to major industrial clusters, arterial highways, and Mumbai, making it well suited for large-format warehousing operations catering to e-commerce companies, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and manufacturing clients. Pune’s position as both a production centre and a growing consumption market further enhances its relevance as a logistics destination.

Developed on 30 acres of leased land, the project comprises 0.7 million square feet of built-up area distributed across three buildings. The layout has been planned to enable smooth vehicle movement, efficient cargo handling, and future scalability. The project has already attracted tenants from the e-commerce, 3PL, and manufacturing sectors, reflecting continued demand for Grade A warehousing facilities in Pune.

Commenting on the development, Ramachandran Rajaram, Regional Head – West at NDR Warehousing, stated that Pune remains a priority market due to its strong manufacturing ecosystem, proximity to Mumbai, and increasing e-commerce activity. He noted that the BigBox facility has been designed to deliver scalable, Grade A warehousing solutions tailored to the evolving needs of large occupiers, further strengthening the company’s long-term commitment to the region.

The NDR BigBox facility has been developed as a future-ready warehousing asset, focusing on operational efficiency, safety, and flexibility. Its specifications and building design support high-throughput operations and long-term tenant requirements.
