Magma, one of Asia’s leading integrated industrial manufacturing companies, today announced the launch of Magma Engineering, a new precision engineering division created to deliver high-performance industrial components from design through delivery. The announcement coincides with Magma’s fourth anniversary and marks another step in its expansion from a materials supplier into a fully integrated manufacturing and engineering partner.
Magma Engineering will manufacture high-tolerance, mission-critical components used across heavy industry, process plants, and advanced production lines. By combining machining, fabrication, and stringent quality systems within one unit, the division will provide both custom-built and repeat components for industrial customers where reliability and turnaround time are essential. Together with TerraMag, Magma’s advanced materials arm, and Magma Green, its circular manufacturing business, the new vertical is expected to contribute significantly to Magma’s next phase of growth.
Unlike traditional vendors that operate in isolation, Magma Engineering is structured as a design-to-delivery partner. Industrial components often move through fragmented supply chains that can create delays, higher costs, and inconsistent quality. Magma Engineering brings these stages under one accountable partner, helping customers simplify procurement and maintain production continuity.
Neal Thakker, Founder and CEO of Magma Group, said the company is building local capabilities that match global standards as manufacturers increasingly shift away from distant supply chains. He added that Magma Engineering will enable faster production, dependable quality, and closer collaboration with customers as their operations scale.
Founded in August 2022, Magma has been profitable since inception and today serves over 250 industrial customers, including Reliance, Adani, and Arvind Group. The company delivers a full-stack ecosystem for factory materials, manufacturing solutions, and precision-engineered components across ceramics, industrial chemicals, paper, polymers, plastics, and packaging.
With operations spanning 12 states across India, Magma is backed by leading investors such as General Catalyst, Capria Ventures, Titan Capital, Avinya Ventures, GVFL Ltd, Accion Venture Lab, and WEH Ventures. This blend of equity and debt financing is focused on strengthening its core factory offerings, deepening backward integration, and enabling greater procurement agility for its customers.
