Mobileye Global Inc (Nasdaq: MBLY) has announced that Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd will integrate its SuperVision and Surround advanced driver assistance systems into at least six upcoming vehicle models, with production expected to begin in 2027. Mobileye will act as the Tier 1 supplier for these programmes.
Both systems will be powered by Mobileye’s EyeQ6 High system-on-chip. The integrated platform combines perception technology, Road Experience Management (REM) mapping intelligence, driving functions, driver and occupant monitoring, and advanced parking capabilities within a single electronic control unit engineered by Mobileye.
The SuperVision platform utilises 11 cameras, optional radar sensors, and dual EyeQ6H processors to enable navigate-on-pilot functionality in designated conditions, advanced parking support, and driver monitoring features. The Surround ADAS configuration incorporates five cameras, multiple radars, and a single EyeQ6H processor, supporting hands-off, eyes-on highway driving under specified conditions along with advanced parking and monitoring systems.
India’s automotive market, currently the third largest globally by sales, is witnessing growing demand for driver assistance technologies driven by safety awareness and regulatory frameworks such as Bharat NCAP. Adoption levels are expected to rise steadily through the decade.
This expanded collaboration builds on earlier deployments of EyeQ4M and EyeQ6L platforms in Mahindra vehicles that achieved strong safety ratings. The latest engagement signals broader localisation of advanced mobility technologies for domestic and export markets. Mobileye President and CEO Prof Amnon Shashua stated that the collaboration reinforces long-term investment in India as a key centre for advanced driver assistance development and localisation.
Founded in 1999, Mobileye develops autonomous driving and driver-assistance technologies based on artificial intelligence, computer vision, and integrated hardware-software platforms. Approximately 230 million vehicles worldwide have been equipped with EyeQ technology through 2025. Since 2022, Mobileye has operated as an independent publicly listed company, with Intel retaining majority ownership.
